Israeli forces have shot and killed a Palestinian man during a raid in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
According to an Israeli security official, Yusef Ahmed Radaida was shot dead when he crashed a tractor through the perimeter fence of an Israeli military camp on Thursday.
Palestinian sources said the 30-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries in hospital. His brother, Mirii al-Radaydeh, was also killed by Israeli regime forces in 2009, they added.
In a similar incident on October 1, the Israeli troops opened fire on two unarmed Palestinians, killing one and injuring the other north of the besieged Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian rights groups, over a dozen Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in the first half of 2013. Israeli troops also seized nearly 1,800 Palestinians, including women and children, during the same period.
